The team took a new approach by deciding to focus entirely on
the IHRA series. They competed in 7 of 11 IHRA races and
finished 6th in the championship points. The team claimed their
first national event victory with a win at the Torco Race Fuels
Northern Nationals in Martin, MI. They also posted two #1
qualifying efforts and a track speed record of 325.9 MPH at the
event in Budds Creek, Maryland.
2005: The team competed in
7 of 23 NHRA national events as well as 2 of 12 IHRA national
events where they finished 21st and 12th in season points
respectively.
2004: Rookie season debut in
the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series. First round win at the
50th annual U.S. Nationals. Competed in seven NHRA events and
qualified for five consecutive events.
2003: Earned his NHRA Top
Fuel license in September. First NHRA professional start in Top
Fuel at the 3rd annual CARQUEST Auto Parts Nationals in October.
2001:
Ran fastest elapse time of 5.68 seconds at a speed of 243.71
mph in a Roots-type Supercharged Alcohol Dragster.
2000: UDRA Supercharged
Alcohol Dragster Champion. UDRA Driver of the Year. First member
of the UDRA Kendall 5 Second Club.
1991:
At age 16, began racing father's Top Alcohol Dragster.
Became the world's fastest teenager.
