A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time (”PT”) on 5/8/05 and closes for entries at 11:59 p.m. PT on 7/02/05. To enter without purchase, complete this official entry form or hand-print your name, address, city, state, ZIP code, telephone number and e-mail address on a 3.5” x 5” card and mail it, with proper postage affixed, to: PEAK / SplitFire Hot Rod Sweepstakes, Offer # OOLA72, PO Box 8209, Wixom, MI 48393-8209. Limited to one entry per person, per day, and each entry must be mailed separately, postmarked by 7/2/05, and received by 7/15/05. One winner will be randomly drawn on or about 8/31/05 by Express Group, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all sweepstakes matters. Partially completed entries or mechanically reproduced entries will not be accepted. Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia who are: 1) age 25 or older; and 2) licensed and insured drivers who have never been convicted of driving under the influence or any form of reckless conduct and who have not been convicted of any moving violations within the last 2 years from the date of entry into this sweepstakes. Employees of Old World Industries Inc. and AutoZone and their affiliates and subsidiaries; advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies and immediate families of each are not eligible. Sweepstakes is void outside of the 50 United States and D.C. and as prohibited by law. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received. Except where prohibited, by accepting prize, winner consents to the use of his/her name and photograph or likeness by Old World Industries, Inc. for publicity purposes without further compensation. Winner will be notified by mail and will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, insurability and liability release within 14 days of notification attempt, or the prize will by forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. One grand prize winner will receive one trip for two (winner and guest) to participate in the 2006 Hot Rod Power Tour (”Tour”). Guest must be at least 18 years of age as of July 31, 2005. Trip consists of a prize package that includes: 1) round-trip, coach air transportation for the winner plus guest from the major U.S. gateway airport nearest winner’s residence to the Tour’s originating city and from the Tour’s terminating city; 2) hotel accommodations (standard double-occupancy) for 8 days and 7 nights at each Tour stop (7 cities in 8 days); 3) supervised operation of a 2006 Corvette automobile during and as part of each day’s running of the Tour; 4) $175 cash for gas expenses; and 5) three meals per day for winner and guest. Winner must operate the vehicle in the manner and during those times determined by the Sponsor and the Tour, in their sole discretion. Guest may not operate the vehicle. Winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary as determined by the Sponsor and the Tour, in their sole discretion. Travel must be made through Sponsor’s agent on a carrier of Sponsor’s choice. Any additional charges incurred by the winner and/or guest shall be their sole responsibility including, but not limited to: gratuities, gifts, service charges, telephone charges, personal expenses, ground transportation, hotel extra-person charges, extra-bed charges, parking fees, telephone fees, room service, movies, mini-bar, and related incidentals. In addition, the following are also not included in this prize: upgrades, mileage redemption, alcoholic beverages, headsets (on flights with in-flight audio and/or video programs), and in-flight air-to-ground telephone calls. Approximate retail value (”ARV”) of this prize is $5,500.00. Actual value may vary based on winner’s point of departure and dates of travel. Prize is non-transferable and is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee either expressed or implied. No substitution or cash alternative will be allowed except at the discretion of the Sponsor. If the featured prize becomes unavailable, a prize of comparable value will be awarded. Taxes on prizes are the responsibility of the winner. Except as specifically provided herein, prize package does not include insurance, any personal expenses referred to above or any other items not specifically described in these Official Rules. All federal, state and local taxes and fees are based on the ARV and are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners will be issued an IRS Tax Form 1099 stating the value of the prize for 2006 tax filing. Sponsor, AutoZone, the Tour and their agencies, parents and subsidiaries, officers, directors, agents and employees are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (1) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the sweepstakes; (2) any errors or delays in transmission; (3) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsor or AutoZone which may cause the sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; (4) any losses or damages of any kind caused by a prize or resulting from acceptance or use of the prize, or from participation in the sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate or suspend the sweepstakes should unauthorized human or natural interventions, systems malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor or AutoZone and its agencies corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper play or conduct of the sweepstakes.
